About the Position
The National Taxpayers Union Foundation (NTUF) seeks a motivated, passionate individual to join our Marketing team and assist with crafting the pro-taxpayer message that we carry to journalists, policymakers, and the general public.
The Marketing Assistant will report to the VP of Communications. This role can be based in Washington, DC or a virtual office. Virtual employees will be expected to work in Eastern Standard Time.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and track usage of press releases, emails, branding materials, and our website
- Create and maintain media contact lists
- Proofread and revise op-eds, issue briefs, and other publications
- Assist with the production of video, digital marketing, and events
Qualifications
- 0+ years experience in communications, marketing, media relations, writing, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Virtual employees will be required to travel to the Washington, DC offices quarterly
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Cision, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics, is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Compensation
This is a full-time position, with an expected salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 per year. Benefits include health insurance with generous employer premium contribution, 401(k) retirement plan with 100% match on the first 3% of contributions and 50% on the next 2% of contributions, 12 paid holidays plus vacation and sick leave and office closure between Christmas and New Year’s.
