It’s no surprise that an increasing number of our searches are being filled with people working virtually. In fact, 2023 is the second year in a row that the majority of our placements do not work from the office full-time: 62% of our placements over the last year work in virtual or partially virtual (hybrid) roles.
Our clients know that removing geographic boundaries results in a much more robust talent pool. Indeed, virtual roles attract twice the number of applicants than in-office roles. And because more than 60% of our searches now have a virtual option, in-office searches have to compete with those geographically-liberated roles! And in a post-Covid world, that flexibility is very attractive to candidates.
While we know that virtual work isn’t for every organization and every role, it is a great option to consider, especially if an organization wants to greatly expand its candidate pool!
