About the Role:
The External Relations Sr. Associate will support FEE’s External Relations (ER) department by cultivating and maintaining relationships with partners and establishing partner leads that will ultimately help scale FEE’s products, programs, and resources to new audiences. The ER Associate will support partner cultivation, database management, and serve as the communications person for new prospects in order to maintain FEE’s high level of quality customer service and protect and maintain FEE’s strong 78-year reputation in the liberty network and within the mainstream education space.
This role will involve project management and internal coordination between departments, travel/exhibiting, and weekly warehouse runs to fulfill shipping needs. The candidate should be a motivated self-starter showcasing utmost maturity, professionalism, and attention to detail. This position reports directly to the Chief Officer of External Affairs and is a full time position in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Primary role to assist FEE’s External Affairs department in administrative tasks and customer service communications for partners and connectors
- Collect, maintain, and report partnership data to internal stakeholders using Salesforce CRM
- Work with the Marketing Department to plan and track deadlines for partner fulfillment using Monday.com
- Enter and keep updated the partner opportunities on FEE.org Student Resources landing page as well as on social media
- Work with FEE’s Office Manager for weekly shipping needs: ship books and material fulfillment for conferences, partners, educators, and events from FEE’s warehouse in Norcross, GA
- Support the External Affairs department with conference and event oversight to include managing FEE’s exhibit booths at various conferences and events
- Maintain and update FEE’s presence on partner websites
Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following:
- At least 3-5+ years in sales, fundraising, and/or project management
- Utmost professionalism in all communications with a commitment to and focus on 100% excellence in customer service both internally (staff) and externally (customers)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Highly effective in relationship building and cultivation
- Timely responses for partnership requests and all communications
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and thoughtfulness in all tasks
- Proven track record of strong communication skills to include written, speaking, and networking abilities
- Proactive attitude to exceed expectations and take initiative with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Required tech skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Google docs/sheets, proficiency in Salesforce CRM, and a general knowledge of WordPress is a plus
- An unwavering commitment and passion for FEE’s mission, principles, and team values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect, Accountability, Creativity, and Courage
- Enthusiastic desire and self-motivation for mastery, even in minor tasks (quick learner)
- Availability to travel up to 40%
Compensation
FEE offers competitive compensation and benefits, including medical and dental insurance, 401k (after one year of service), FSA, and HRA. Salary is commensurate with experience.
