The Director of Training and Education will be the primary contact for all external trainings coordinated by the Foundation.  Logistics, preparation, and materials for training sessions to educate Americans for Prosperity Foundation’s grassroots activists will involve coordination efforts with state and national staff. The Director will manage these efforts with state directors and through training programs during the annual Defending the American Dream and RightOnline summits.  Main responsibilities will include material and program creation, maintenance, and evolution of training programs, and coalition building among like-minded organizations to leverage existing training. Working closely with state directors, the events and policy teams will also be essential to keep staff, trainers, and leadership up-to-date on key economic freedom issues.

The Deputy National Field Director will serve as a both the Regional Field Director for the Eastern Region as well as work with the National Field Director to develop and implement the strategic mission of the field program. This position will help build grassroots activities and coalitions while managing multiple Field Coordinators in multiple states. Utilizing strong coordination and communication skills, this position will be charged with developing several aspects of the national field plan. The ideal candidate will have a background in grassroots advocacy, coalition building, and management. The Deputy National Field Director is a newly created position within the organization and is not an entry-level position.
