About Philanthropy Roundtable:

Our vision is to build and sustain a vibrant American philanthropic movement that strengthens our free society. To achieve this vision, the organization pursues a mission to foster excellence in philanthropy, protect philanthropic freedom and help donors advance liberty, opportunity, and personal responsibility.

Our staff is diverse in experience and perspective, but at our core we share a lot of the same traits and values. We are mission-driven, results-oriented, entrepreneurial, courageous, and team-oriented.

    • Represent Philanthropy Roundtable with our donor community, policymakers, partner organizations and other stakeholders.
  1. Government Relations:
    • Oversee the relationship strategies for building relationships with key policymakers, government agencies, and elected officials at the federal, state, and local levels.
    • Collaborate with partner organizations to coordinate advocacy efforts and influence public policy in support of philanthropic values.
    • Coordinate lobbying efforts and work closely with legislative affairs teams to shape policy discussions.
  1. External Relations & Thought Leadership:
    • Serve as a spokesperson for Philanthropy Roundtable on policy issues, communicating the organization’s position to the media, stakeholders, and the public.
    • Work with thought leaders in philanthropy, nonprofit organizations, and academic institutions to build coalitions that advance the organization’s policy priorities.
  1. Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the Policy and Government Affairs team, setting clear goals and priorities to ensure the department’s success.
    • Foster a collaborative team environment that supports professional growth and the development of the department’s capabilities.
  1. Public Policy Research & Analysis:

    • Motivated by and committed to the guiding principles, mission, and vision of the Roundtable
  • Education & Experience:
