Young America’s Foundation (YAF) is the leading young conservative organization, introducing high school and college students to the Conservative Movement. As the principal outreach organization of the Conservative Movement, YAF leverages its robust campus lecture program and essential conferences to inspire thousands of students annually with the ideas of individual freedom, a strong national defense, free enterprise, and traditional values. YAF also preserves and protects Ronald Reagan’s ranch home, Rancho del Cielo, in Santa Barbara, California, and the Reagan Boyhood Home in Dixon, Illinois.
The Salesforce Administrator will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
This is an in-office position based at YAF’s national headquarters in Reston, Virginia.
Job Summary:
YAF is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Salesforce Administrator to manage and optimize our Salesforce CRM platform. This role is crucial in maintaining data integrity, improving system functionality, supporting users across departments, and ensuring our CRM supports strategic engagement with our constituents (donors, students, alumni, and allies).
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary system administrator for YAF’s Salesforce CRM platform
- Manage system administration and customization for YAF’s program, development, communications, and donor records needs
- Manage user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, and access levels (under the direction of YAF’s leadership)
- Ensure sensitive data and user access are protected
- Customize objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and workflows to support YAF’s operations
- Monitor data quality, deduplication, and integrity across all constituent categories: donors, students, alumni, and allies
- Create and send reports as needed for YAF’s various departments
- Work with development, programs, and communication teams to streamline their use of Salesforce
- Coordinate with external consultants or developers as needed for advanced customization or integration projects
- Conduct regular system audits, prepare for upgrades, and stay current on Salesforce releases and features
- Build and maintain documentation related to processes, configurations, and policies
- Analyze data and generate actionable insights through reporting for program impact, fundraising, and other campaigns
- Support and train staff on Salesforce best practices and processes

Qualifications:
- 2+ years Salesforce Administrator experience
- Experience with data migration and custom development
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and a desire to continue learning
- Committed to and enthusiastic about YAF’s mission and programs
- Salesforce Administrator certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Familiarity with third-party platforms (Anedot, Hubspot, and other marketing and event planning tools)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Understanding of compliance and data security standards related to donor and student information
- Willingness to comply with YAF policies, procedures, and practices
