Our mission is to Educate, Develop, and Empower the next generation of leaders of liberty. We are a remote, vibrant, and entrepreneurial organization consisting of 80+ full time staff members.

Position Summary

Students For Liberty seeks a builder to lead our Talent Development & Placements function under the Liberty’s Leaders initiative. This full-time role designs and runs the career pathways that move SFL students and alumni into high-impact roles across liberty-aligned think tanks, advocacy groups, and enterprises in North America (with global alumni integration).

The leader in this role will identify high-potential talent, deliver light-touch career readiness programming (coaching, interview prep, mentor matching), and grow a strategic employer-partner portfolio that converts into internships, fellowships, and full-time placements. They will stand up a movement-wide placement system—including CRM, dashboards, and outcomes tracking—to ensure repeatable results and great partner experience.

The ideal candidate is a talent developer and ecosystem connector: part career-services pro, part partnership builder, with the operational discipline to launch a new function and the entrepreneurial mindset to scale it.

The Talent Development & Placement Officer will report to the Director of International Programs. The position is virtual with regular travel to Washington, D.C. and key liberty movement events.
