GEOGRAPHY & VIRTUAL WORK

It’s no surprise that an increasing number of our searches are being filled with people working virtually. In fact, the majority of our placements do not work from the office full-time: they work in virtual or partially virtual (hybrid) roles.

Our clients know that removing geographic boundaries results in a much more robust talent pool. Indeed, virtual roles attract twice the number of applicants than in-office roles. And because more than 60% of our searches now have a virtual option, in-office searches have to compete with those geographically-liberated roles! And in a post-Covid world, that flexibility is very attractive to candidates.

While we know that virtual work isn’t for every organization and every role, it is a great option to consider, especially if an organization wants to greatly expand its candidate pool!

The map represents a snapshot of placements over the course of 12 months, including where each placement is based and whether they work virtually, in office, or in a hybrid setting.
