About Talent Market

Mission

Talent Market’s mission is to promote liberty by providing talent for critical roles within the free-market nonprofit sector.

We provide consulting and recruiting services at no cost to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations that clearly and directly focus on advancing the principles of economic freedom, free enterprise, free trade, free speech, property rights, rule of law, and limited regulation. (We do not work with political organizations, organizations with mission statements that do not clearly advance free-market principles, organizations that focus on social issues, or organizations that have a focus outside of the United States. We are not a job board. )

Talent Market believes that the road to prosperity is paved with freedom and that the success of our movement hinges on the talent that will take us there.

Vision

The free-market nonprofit sector has the talent it needs to defend liberty so that we once again become a society that embraces free enterprise and the prosperity that comes with it.

Success

Since its inception in 2009, Talent Market has assisted more than 280 nonprofits and has placed more than 1,400 individuals in key roles in the free-market nonprofit sector.

Support Talent Market

Since Talent Market does not charge a fee for its services, it is only through the generosity of supporters that we can continue our important work.

Talent Market raises its own funds from individuals, foundations, and nonprofit clients.

Yep, a nonprofit

Shut the front door… Talent Market is a nonprofit?

That’s right. Talent Market is a nonprofit.

We know it’s a crazy concept, but it’s been working like a charm since 2009.

And your services are free?

Talent Market does not charge for its services.

(Keep in mind that private sector recruiters often charge clients 20–30% of annual compensation — more for senior roles! And we’re doing what we do for free! Who loves you, baby?)

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I donate to Talent Market?

The fight for liberty faces many challenges, but the need for human capital is among the most daunting. Even if liberty-oriented organizations are well financed, their likelihood of success is limited by the availability of qualified leadership and strategic personnel with expertise necessary to advance free market principles in academia, the media, and public policy. Talent Market exists to address this critical need – to assist free-market nonprofit organizations by identifying, evaluating, and placing the best and brightest individuals in key roles within the liberty movement.

Since Talent Market does not charge nonprofits for its services, it is only through the generosity of supporters that we can continue our important work. Talent Market is a nonprofit and raises its own funds from individuals, organizations, and foundations. Thank you for your support.
