VP of Development
Center for American Liberty
Virtual

This is the opportunity of a lifetime for a development professional looking to play a key role growing one of the most impactful organizations in the Liberty Movement—the Center for American Liberty. Founded by Harmeet Dhillon, awarded the 2020 Gregor G. Peterson Prize in Venture Philanthropy, three victories at the U.S. Supreme Court in 2021, and currently pioneering novel lawsuits against gender clinics on behalf of de-transitioners, the Center for American Liberty seeks to add a talented and experienced development professional to its team to build upon its successes.
About the Position
The VP of Development position will provide strategic leadership to elevate the Center for American Liberty’s fundraising efforts. This position will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for managing the fundraising team, strengthening relationships with existing donors, stewarding gifts, and developing innovative strategies to increase giving and donor prospecting. Experience with Donor Perfect and Moves Management is preferred.
This is a new position at the Center for American Liberty. In its few years of operation, the Center for American Liberty experienced tremendous growth that necessitates building out a fundraising department that can meet the organization’s growing financial needs. The Center for American Liberty is leading the fight, through litigation, to defend the free speech rights and civil liberties of Americans left behind by civil rights legacy groups. Because it engages in a broad scope of litigation, any development professional joining our team will need to be able to communicate complex legal issues to donors in a way that is clear, concise, and inspiring.
