Opportunity
The Scholarship Impact Officer reports to the Senior Vice President, Scholarship Program, and serves as a key strategic leader within the Scholarship team. This role advances long-term strategy, designs portfolio-level impact measurement, and strengthens partnerships that enhance the effectiveness and future direction of the Daniels Scholarship Program.
The Officer operates at both conceptual and operational altitude, integrating economic reasoning, longitudinal data, donor intent, and leadership formation into cohesive strategy. This role requires the ability to build disciplined, executive-ready cases that connect programmatic investments to measurable long-term scholar outcomes and responsible capital stewardship.
Working with high autonomy, the Scholarship Impact Officer is a high-performing executor who aligns strategy, data, and relationships at a systems level to ensure the program delivers durable impact for Daniels Scholars while faithfully honoring Bill Daniels’ intent.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Denver, CO.
The Role
Scholarship Portfolio Strategy
- Design and lead exploratory efforts that proactively surface innovative programmatic approaches and partnership opportunities.
- Shape strategic priorities into integrated, multi-year strategy pathways that connect scholar selection, major choice, workforce exposure, financial literacy, alumni engagement, and long-term mobility into a cohesive leadership formation model.
- Identify emerging opportunities, trends, and risks affecting higher education, scholar development, and student success.
Impact Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Design and oversee a comprehensive impact framework that evaluates scholar outcomes, program effectiveness, and alumni success.
- Develop reporting tools and dashboards within Salesforce that inform executive decision-making and strengthen accountability.
- Align operational data with portfolio-level insights to drive continuous improvement.
Strategic Communications of Impact
- Translate program outcomes into clear, compelling narratives that tell the story of long-term scholar impact.
- Craft internal and external materials that reflect the values and legacy of Bill Daniels.
Executive Strategy & Program Integration
- Architect and produce executive-caliber strategic materials that synthesize data, donor intent, financial modeling, and programmatic strategy into compelling, disciplined cases for action.
- Prepare research, analysis, and executive-ready materials that support decision-making and focused board engagement.
- Ensure alignment across scholarship initiatives by integrating strategy, measurement, communications, and operational priorities.
- Lead special projects that advance the strategic direction and long-term sustainability of the Scholarship Program.
Strategic Partnerships & External Engagement
- Represent the Scholarship Program at meetings, convenings, and events to advance relationships and strengthen the Fund’s presence as a leader in the higher education and scholarship ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities to deepen alumni engagement and enhance long-term scholar connectivity.
- Travel (up to 20%) to build relationships, attend conferences, gather insights, and identify new opportunities for impact.

There is no explicit experience requirement. We are looking for the right person to grow within our foundation and team.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position will be in the range of $135,000 to $200,000 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Daniels Fund offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health, dental, vision insurance, LTD, life insurance, a matched 401k retirement plan and a host of additional benefits.
