The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) seeks an experienced professional to initiate, coordinate, and drive the identification, evaluation, and selection of top talent for open positions (including internships) at IHS. In addition to hiring processes, the HPD director owns all orientation, training, and performance-evaluation processes. By developing and maintaining professional, innovative hiring and professional-development practices, the HPD director ensures that IHS has a competitive advantage in attracting, retaining, and cultivating the very best talent, resulting in a productive, vibrant workplace and an organization that is highly effective in advancing its mission. This is a critical role that reports directly to IHS’s vice president/COO and serves the needs of a $10.6 million organization with more than 70 staff members.
