Director of External Relations – Montana Policy Institute – Bozeman, MT

The Montana Policy Institute seeks a Director of External Relations to manage development and communications on behalf of the growing state-based nonprofit. This role will report directly to the CEO.

In this new position, the Director of External Relations will have the opportunity to communicate MPI’s mission and impact, develop rapport with existing donors, and establish new relationships with prospective donors. This individual will serve as a member of the Institute’s management team, making plans and setting policy to take the development program to the next level of success. The Director will supervise the major gifts and annual giving programs, assist with events, and develop and implement strategies that promote long-term sustainable growth and deepen the Institute’s relationships with its donors.
